Red Columbine Seeds


(Aquilegia canadensis) One of the first few plants to provide nectar for pollinators in the spring. Larval host for the columbine duskywing butterfly. Habitat includes dry to mesic woodlands. Best to cut back flowering stems after blooming to promote regrowth. Note: can increase rapidly from self seeding. PS/S/DT/C(60)/M
