Jane Maloney’s Bio:
Jane Maloney is a Land Steward at Sudbury Valley Trustees, focusing heavily on invasive species identification and removal. She coordinates the SVT Weed Warrior volunteers under the Sudbury, Assabet and Concord Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (SuAsCo CISMA). Jane holds a BS in Environmental Science from St. Michael’s College, and in her free time enjoys rock climbing and biking.

Description of the Event:
This presentation will cover common invasive plant and insect species in Massachusetts. Attendants will learn what defines a species as “invasive”, how to identify them, and how to manage them in their backyards or wherever they’re stewarding the land. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
